Whats the best way to let go of the one you love?
I am having trouble letting go of the one I love, we had a very serious relationship we were trying to have kids and were a month away of me proposing to her. I am having a very very very hard time letting her go, because I feel that we had such a strong relationship that she would have came back by now, we did try and be just friends about 4weeks ago, but instead of taking what I was offer I tried to turn it into more. Now I think ive bothered her enough to the point where shes changed her number. I just dont know how to get over her and I want to so bad. It sucks because we live 5 mins apart (we used to live together before the split) and we have a lot of mutual friends, so I see her every once in a while while like driving and I hear about her from other people and it hurts. How can I let her go when I love her so much?
Oh my friend. Regardless of what others tell you, it’s a tough road but a road well traveled by many before you and every single day. It is painful but you must erase her number and all info you know of her to keep you from calling. I mean this in my heart of most serious hearts. Although it does not seem this way now, you WILL, mark my words, WILL, oneday click your shoes like Dorothy down the yellow brick road. Life is full of experiences and often, you have to leave the OKAY to find the BEST. She is out there and you are young. Go find a new hobby that does not involve her. You will get through this. I promise.
