Heartbreak in highschool?
Kay, so where to begin, I’m 16 and going into grade 11. I don’t really need to go into much details, but I fell in love for the first time this past year. Alot of stuff has happened to him and I and alot of mean words and fights and such have been said to each other. No matter what, we always find our way back to each other though.
It was usually me who was getting hurt by him (not physically) but anyway.. I’m still in love with him.. is it worth it to take the chance of getting hurt again by him and hoping maybe things work out this time? Because after all.. it’s only high school right? Like heartbreak is almost guaranteed to happen?
Most of my friends, but two, say I just need to get over him. I have tried.. for months and months. It doesn’t work, I keep looking back and wonder ‘What if I had given him another chance?’ and I dont want to have those regrets..
I dont really know what to do… help?
Yes. That’s part of the high school part of life. It’s pretty much expected to happen.
