My 3 yr old won’t give up his pacifer-anyone have some tips to break the habit?
I can’t stand the fact that my son won’t give up sucking his pacifer. How did you help your child break the habit?
My cousen cut them with her granddaughter. She just took them all and cut a little slit in them and then when he goes to suck on it it goes flat. Her granddaughter just would throw them down and look for the next one! Of course they were ALL cut!
There is also the pacifier reward program where you give him X amount of dollars towards a toy he REALLY wants for EVERY pacifier he gives you.
Then there is the pacifier fairy, kinda like the tooth fairy, same basic as the reward program only he leaves it out for the “fairy” and then she leaves him a reward.
